Our mission is to support women to achieve their full potential to encourage, enable and facilitate their active involvement in business, employment, learning and community life.
Changing negative attitudes, behaviors, and beliefs of the public that they are the main barriers and making obstacles for women's peace, women's role and contribution in the political process, decision making, development, and women's participation in peacebuilding.
Mercy Rural Development Society was started in 1988. They work towards establishing a sustainable life for women and children. They aim at solving issues related to domestic violence and crime against women. MRDS also helps women build self-help groups to establish a sustainable livelihood. They have carved a niche for themselves by supporting and redefining the status of women and helping them become self-reliant, self-dependent, and lead a life of self-respect..
